Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club’s annual Panel Competition gives members the opportunity to flex their creative muscles by grouping together five images to either tell a story, or to represent a theme.
Despite this year’s competition only being allowable in digital format, due to Covid restrictions on prints, members rose to the challenge and judge, Gordon Aspland from Newton Abbot Photographic Club, had a difficult job choosing the winners from all the submissions received.
However, five prizes were awarded with the Gold going to Alex Rosen – who also won the Printed Panel competition last year – for his dramatic, black and white images on The Coast.
The Silver Award went to Tony Wilson for his thoroughly creative panel entitled Fifty Shades of Red.
The Bronze Award for his beautiful panel of ballet dancer poses called A Splash of Red, went to Paul Hepple.
The two Highly Commended awards went to Bobbie Smith for her bold and graphic panel entitled Out of the Blue and Ken Holland for his gritty, monochrome images of the Hong Kong Protests respectively.
