Photographic exhibition delights visitors

The Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Club celebrated their photographic exhibition at the TAAG Centre in Teignmouth with a drinks reception attended by the Mayor of Teignmouth, Councillor June Green, together with special invited guests and all the camera club members.

The exhibition included a mix of colour and monochrome prints, plus digitally projected images which showcased a wide cross section of members works - some of whom are relatively new to photography – from portraits to wildlife and from urban to countryside.

Many of the landscape images featured local scenes around Teignmouth, Dawlish and Dartmoor.

The exhibition (the Club’s third) was enjoyed by over 600 people during its week-long run, and there was lots of interest from potential new members.

Visitors were encouraged to vote for their favourite photo and the overwhelming winner was Sunset Sail by Ken Redshaw.

The Club meets on a Wednesday evening at Holcombe Village Hall and is open to anyone with an interest in photography, whether a complete beginner or experienced pro. Find out what's on and more on our Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Club website.
