Panel competition

Following the christmas break Dawlish and Teignmouth camera club resumed with members enthusiastically competing in the annual panel competition.

Consisting of five prints or digital images a panel is created on a theme of the photographers choice.

Judge Alan Davey, LRPS and a member of Ivybridge and District Camera Club, had the onerous task of commenting and picking the winners from a very large entry and he did a fantastic job of appraising each image.

Subjects were diverse, members having travelled to some far flung places, New England, San Diego, Washington and Venice. Other subjects ranged from landscapes to street photography, portraits to wildlife.

Members had put in a huge amount of effort into produing such a varied and interesting evening.

The results were;

Prints; 1st Tony Wilson, 2nd Ross parker, 3rd Ken Redshaw, highly commended Leslie Cooper

Digital Images; Joint 1st Edward Chorlton and Bob Nomand, 3rd Tony Wilson, highly commended Ken Holland
